B. J. has been painting and studying
art since she was a child and has degrees in painting and interior architecture. She prefers to work en plein air, painting
mostly outdoors on location in and around Santa Barbara.
The majority of her work is oil on canvas, though
she is equally at home with acrylic and watercolor painting.
Her contemporary impressionistic California
landscapes have been collected throughout the United States and abroad.
